The Humane Research Trust Cio

The Humane Research Trust is a UK charity. Since 1961 we have supported scientists to find ways to replace animals in medical research.
We believe in a future where medicine has progressed beyond animal experimentation. That is why we provide grants to scientists, so they can research human health using non-animal methods.

With our support, researchers have made significant breakthroughs in a broad range of fields, from neurology to cancer research. But there is still a long way to go. In the UK, millions of animals are used for medical research every single year.

Ultimately, we want to change this. The charity relies entirely on your generous donations to continue funding pioneering humane research.

Messages of condolence

I met Helen when we were both going through tough times. Our little group only met online, but it was obvious Helen was a beautiful soul, lovely, kind, supportive and full of love for her family and friends. I wish I had had the chance to meet her in person. Thanks Helen for being there for us, may you rest in peace. xx

Ms Debbie Bird

When I first met Helen she mentioned the treats she'd made for her dog and cat, I knew she cared and had a big heart. She was kind and took joy from seeing her dog happy and playing on our walks. Happy she was happy. My deepest sympathy to the family. A beautiful service and place of rest. Becca, The dog walker
